individuals looking to continue to work. A recent report by the Institute of Fiscal Studies – click here, suggests
there is a move by 50 to 64 year olds returning to the workplace.
The return to work by Seniors is not necessarily viewed as a long-term career move, but rather a
method of boosting income on a shorter term basis.
A potential employer may have a requirement to fill a (limited time) role within their business – this
may be a fixed period of say several months or a variable, unspecified period.
So, the premise of Lilac Jobs is simple – we put the interested parties together, initially online.
Either the candidates will view featured jobs and / or the employer will search for suitable Senior
candidates. After this initial introduction via Lilac Jobs the interested parties will then commence
direct negotiations with each other to determine the mutual suitability and terms of the placement.
